About Me
Lucas Tomaselli is a 5th-year student at Drexel University studying Game Design and Production. Because of a deep love for storytelling and creativity, he finds himself drawn towards Environment Art. Beyond this, Lucas also considers himself to be a generalist and loves taking a project from start to finish, immersing himself in every part of the process. With industry practices constantly pushing towards more technical art, he works hard to incorporate proceduralism and tool-building into his skillset. He first began using Houdini at the end of his freshman year and quickly fell in love with working procedurally. Lucas started his Houdini journey learning FX and animation but looks to transition to working within games, via Houdini Engine. He is passionate about all things visual and is always looking for opportunities to learn and challenge himself as an artist.
Beyond a desire to improve his technical skills, Lucas always strives to improve his ability to think creatively, to be self-motivated, and to be a well-rounded, interesting individual. Outside of the 3D world, he throws himself into any art project he can whether it be music, drawing, or even cooking. He is at his happiest when he is bringing innovative and exciting entertainment into the world.
